About Athens Pastries
Athens Pastries first opened its doors in 1978 on the Danforth, right in the heart of Toronto’s Greektown. Our goal was simple: to share a true taste of authentic Greek street food with the city. We specialize in delicious and wholesome treats like spanakopita (spinach pie), tiropita (cheese pie), and other flaky phyllo pastries, along with irresistible loukoumathes (honey balls). These recipes come straight from Northern Greece, passed down through generations. We’re proud to make everything from scratch, using fresh, simple ingredients that we source locally whenever we can.
