About Bakery Sate
Eric is a professionally trained baker with a Diploma in Baking and Pastry from the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts and is a certified Red Seal Baker. He’s deeply committed to crafting everything in-house from scratch. Before turning to baking full-time, Eric earned a degree in Pharmacology from UBC and an MBA. He spent many years working in Vancouver’s tech industry, developing wireless electronics, which also gave him the chance to travel extensively across Europe—especially France. Despite his diverse background, Eric’s true passion has always been pastry and baking. BAKERY SATE is the natural expression of his love for French-style pastries.
