The restaurant is housed in one of Buitenverwachting’s original thatch-roofed buildings, part of the historic wine estate. After a severe storm in June 2017, it was thoughtfully renovated using natural materials like untreated wood, leather, handcrafted tiles, and unpolished marble. The interior design reflects the estate’s charm, featuring clean, simple lines and classic touches. Surrounded by the estate’s natural wild flora and farmland, Head Chef and Partner Edgar Osoijnik draws inspiration from the landscape to create the menu. Guests can enjoy a variety of refined yet rustic-traditional dishes alongside an elegant fine dining selection.
