Dooher's Bakery has been a beloved part of the community since 1949, when Muriel and Harry Dooher took a chance on a small bakery in Madoc, Ontario. Starting with just a simple wood-fired oven and making everything from scratch, their hard work and dedication laid the foundation for what would become a long-standing, high-quality bakery. Today, the bakery is still family-run by Chris and Peter Dooher and has grown into one of southern Ontario’s finest home bakeries. Located at 61 Bridge St. in Campbellford, Dooher's Bakery remains deeply connected to the community, supporting local charities and fundraising efforts as both a sponsor and active participant. It’s not just a bakery—it’s a cherished local landmark and gathering spot.
