Empire Gas and Plumbing Ltd

About Empire Gas and Plumbing Ltd

Empire Gas & Plumbing Ltd is a Gas Safe registered plumbing and heating company based at 63 Johnston Street, Blackburn, serving the whole of Lancashire including Darwen, Accrington, Burnley, Preston, Bolton, Bury and Rossendale. We handle boiler installations for Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Baxi and Ideal, servicing and repairs, heating systems, power flushes, radiator replacements, smart thermostat integration, bathroom and wet room installs, general plumbing repairs, and same-day landlord gas safety certificates (CP12). Our engineers run a 24/7 emergency line for burst pipes, boiler breakdowns and gas leaks, with a real engineer answering the phone rather than a call centre. Quotes are free with no call-out fees, and we offer fixed-price quotations with finance available on boiler installs. We're proud to have completed over 500 boiler installs and served more than 1000 happy customers, holding a 5-star average across Google, Checkatrade and Best of Blackburn from over 400 combined reviews. In 2025 we were named Blackburn's Most Loved in the Local & Loved Awards, reached the regional semi-finals of Screwfix Top Tradesperson, and were a national finalist for BestHeating Plumber of the Year. Born and based in Blackburn, we sponsor the local football team and provide free safety checks for those who need them. Every engineer is fully Gas Safe registered, and Worcester and Vaillant installs carry up to a 12-year transferable manufacturer warranty. We're open Monday to Saturday, 7am–8pm, with emergency cover on Sundays.
