About Glenmore Sands
Glenmore Sands is located just 7 km north of Port Edward, about a 30-minute drive south of Margate. Nestled right on Glenmore Beach, most of our units offer stunning sea views. The resort’s history dates back to the early 1900s when the original Green Dolphin Hotel was built. Around 1983, it was transformed into self-catering units, but the restaurant and reception area still occupy part of the original building. You’ll find a charming collection of old photographs and artifacts there, perfect for a bit of interesting browsing.
