Good Samaritan Hospital’s story started back in the early 1960s, in the living rooms and coffee shops of Silicon Valley. It all began when members of Episcopalian and Methodist churches, along with others from the community, came together with a shared goal: to raise funds for a hospital that would serve more than just physical health. They envisioned a place that would care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—while also meeting the needs of a rapidly growing population.
