About J Lewis Plumbing & Heating Ltd
J Lewis Plumbing & Heating Ltd is a small, up-front and Gas Safe Registered company based in Guildford, specialising in plumbing and heating servicing and repairs. We cover Guildford and the surrounding areas, including Burpham, Merrow, Normandy, Shalford and Worplesdon. Our van carries a large supply of spares, so we can often fix the problem in just one visit. We handle boiler servicing and repairs, radiator installations, removals and replacements, and central heating repairs, alongside plumbing work such as leaks, burst pipes and overflows, taps, toilets, showers and shower pumps, vented and unvented hot water tanks, cold water tanks and accumulators. For landlords, we provide gas safety certificates and checks, boiler services and plumbing and heating repairs. Regular servicing and maintenance keep problems from occurring in the first place, not just fix them once they arise. Customer service is one of our highest priorities, and all our work is carried out to the highest possible standard. We listen to your concerns and offer professional advice so you feel confident in our capabilities. Our set prices are clear from the outset: £108 (no VAT) labour rate for the first hour of any repair or diagnostic work, £108 for a boiler service, £149 for a boiler service with landlord gas safety certificate (plus £14.50 for a gas cooker/hob check), and £159 for a boiler and unvented tank service. Book our standard services online by selecting a convenient date and timeslot, with four appointment slots available daily. We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy, and confirmation is sent by email and text ahead of your appointment.
