In 2003, Shatrughan, a hospitality graduate and the founder of Kabru, was traveling through the Himalayas. While staying in a tent house in Kabru, he met a seventy-year-old master craftsman who had been making soaps and wellness products for decades. This artisan worked in his family’s factory, carefully following a 300-year-old traditional triple milling process and using only the finest natural ingredients. This encounter inspired Shatrughan to bring those authentic, time-honored products to a wider audience.
