Discover Hong Kong’s incredible journey—from its days as a British colony to becoming Asia’s World City—through the eyes of a former British soldier who arrived here in the 1980s and never left. I offer personalized day and night tours around the vibrant city, focusing on Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, as well as trips to Lantau Island featuring highlights like the Tian Tan Buddha, Tai O fishing village, and the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car. There’s no need for a deposit, and I’m happy to accommodate last-minute bookings. Unlike typical guidebooks or bus tours, I bring you the perspective of a knowledgeable and friendly Englishman who has spent his entire adult life living in Hong Kong. All our adventures use the city’s world-class public transportation, giving us the chance to experience a wide variety of sights and sounds firsthand. Having seen Hong Kong as a soldier, businessman, father, and sportsman—and having lived through the 1997 Handover of Sovereignty and two financial crises—I’ll share unique insights into life in the Fragrant Harbour that you won’t find anywhere else.
