About Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia
Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families with seriously ill children. Our goal is to keep families close to each other and the medical care their child needs. Our main program, the Ronald McDonald House®, offers a comfortable “home away from home” for families while their seriously ill children receive treatment at nearby hospitals. The first Ronald McDonald House in Australia opened in Camperdown, Sydney, back in 1981. Today, there are 16 Ronald McDonald Houses across Australia and more than 360 around the world.
