About Sonoma Cafe Alexandria
Sonoma’s story starts back in the late 1940s with a young boy’s adventures in a small country bakery. As a child, Kerry Connole often visited his grandparents at their Busy Bee general store in the NSW town of Bellata. But it was the tiny 24-square-meter bakery next door where he really loved to spend his time. Kerry would watch the local baker kneading, stretching, and shaping dough before sliding it into the oven, turning it into golden loaves. Little did he know, those early moments would lay the foundation for what would become Sonoma.
