Soul Drums

About Soul Drums

Soul Drums is your go-to spot for all things percussion—offering both retail and learning experiences under one roof. Since opening in 1996 on Toronto’s bustling Yonge Street in North York, we’ve built a reputation for carrying a wide and unique range of drums and world percussion instruments. But it’s not just about the gear—we’re passionate about teaching. Our diverse programs include workshops, Saturday clinics, and lessons led by some of the best drum set and hand percussion instructors around. Be sure to ask about our bi-annual retreat weekends, special artist clinics, student recitals, and Summer Camp opportunities. When you step into our store, you’ll find yourself on a musical journey. We’ve arranged our collection by region, showcasing instruments from Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, North America, and beyond. Plus, we have dedicated sections for books, videos, and drum sets displayed on islands right in the center of the store. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, Soul Drums is here to inspire and support your percussion journey.
