About TAP&BARREL PUB
This pub is located at Bolshaya Dmitrovka, 13. From the early 1960s to the mid-1990s, it was home to the famous Soviet beer bar “Ladya,” better known to everyone as the legendary and lively “Yama.” “Yama” was notable for installing the first beer vending machines in the entire Soviet Union. The main character in the film “Beware of the Car,” Yuri Detochkin, even received some of his love acknowledgments from investigator Podberezovik at this very spot. While that particular detail is often debated, it’s well known that both heroes in the movie would exit from the doors of “Yama,” swaying charmingly along Stoleshnikov Lane. Today, under its 15th-century vaulted ceilings, the pub comfortably accommodates up to 500 guests. Tap & Barrel is probably the most classic pub in the entire Pub Life holding, but also by far the most fun. With 30 varieties of draft beer and a dozen bartenders behind the bar, the lively atmosphere here is effortlessly guaranteed.
