Texture Hair Salon, Ottawa’s go-to spot for the latest in style and fashion, was started by Ramsey 12 years ago. What began as a small salon with just two chairs has grown into a thriving business with over 25 employees across two locations—and more expansion is on the horizon. “Right after high school, I jumped straight into hairstyling academy and quickly realized this industry demands a mix of creativity, business savvy, and people skills,” says Ramsey. “Fortunately, I had all three—I just needed to recognize it and go for it.”
