Rory Vohwinkel started his legal career at one of Nevada’s oldest and largest law firms, where he worked on commercial litigation and business transactions. Later, he served as the sole in-house attorney for a national real estate investment and property management company. In 2009, Rory founded his own law firm with a mission to help Las Vegas residents struggling financially due to the economic downturn. Since then, he has helped thousands of people in Southern Nevada file for bankruptcy to protect themselves from aggressive creditors and other financial challenges. He’s also guided many homeowners through loan modifications and short sales to keep them in their homes or minimize their losses. A second-generation Las Vegas native, Rory earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History from Santa Clara University in 2000. He received his law degree from the University of Arizona in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Nevada that same year. He’s also licensed to practice in California since 2011 and in federal court for the District of Nevada. Beyond his legal work, Rory is a member of the American Bar Association, ABI, NACBA, and holds a Nevada real estate broker’s license.
