About Vue de monde
Vue de monde started out in a charming terrace building on Drummond Street in Carlton, but in 2005, it moved to the historic Normanby Chambers right in Melbourne’s central business district. What began as a classical French restaurant with a small but loyal following grew into something much more—shifting towards a theatrical dining experience that truly celebrates the art of food. Even before the move, Vue de monde was getting noticed, with chef and owner Shannon Bennett winning the Australian Gourmet Traveller’s very first ‘Best New Talent’ award back in 2003.
