About Aireys Pub
The Aireys Pub, a beloved landmark on the Great Ocean Road since 1904, has a rich history. After being destroyed in the Ash Wednesday fires of 1983, the pub operated out of a tin shed until it was rebuilt. In 2011, when the pub closed and developers showed interest, it looked like the town might lose its local gathering spot for good. But thanks to a last-minute effort by a group of locals, the pub was saved. We've since renovated it and brought it back to life as one of Australia’s best-loved coastal pubs.
