About Billy Kwong
Billy Kwong first opened its doors in 2000 in a cozy spot on Crown Street in Surry Hills, Sydney, bringing to life a vision of a lively Chinese eatery. Taiwanese designer Chen Lu cleverly worked around the small space to create a charming, lacquered-box style restaurant. After 14 years in that location, it was time to pack up the woks, part with our well-known three-legged stools, and move to a bigger spot in Potts Point—giving us room to grow and take Billy Kwong to the next level.
