About Carlisle

Carlisle Wide Plank Flooring has been crafting beautiful, custom wood floors since 1966. Based in New Hampshire, they’re known for making some of the widest and longest planks around—usually 8 to 10 inches wide, and sometimes as wide as 20 inches, which is almost twice the size of typical flooring. Each floor is made to order using heartwood from mature trees, carefully sourced from the best regions to ensure lasting strength and unique grain patterns. Their signature SlowCraft™ process involves a team of skilled artisans who hand-select, shape, and finish every board, creating floors with fewer seams and a smooth, expansive look. Carlisle offers a wide variety of wood species, finishes, and custom options—including solid, engineered, unfinished, pre-finished, and reclaimed wood—to fit both classic and modern styles. They’re also committed to sustainability, using responsibly harvested timber, low-VOC finishes, and recycling their manufacturing waste. What really sets Carlisle apart is their personalized, hands-on approach, working closely with each client to create a floor that’s truly one of a kind.
