About Cashem Advanced Materials Hi-tech Co. Ltd

Cashem Advanced Materials Hi-tech Co., Ltd. was founded in 2010 with a registered capital of 54 million RMB. It became the first company in China to specialize in manufacturing PMI foam. Currently, Cashem can produce 3,000 cubic meters of PMI foam annually, and a second phase expansion to increase capacity to 5,000 cubic meters is underway. Leveraging technology from the Institute of Chemistry at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS), Cashem has built an R&D team of over 10 experts focused on advancing the industrialization and standardization of PMI foam. The company is fully capable of producing PMI foam—from raw material preparation to final product applications. Cashem has also participated in several major government projects, including the “863” program, the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fund, and key science and technology initiatives in Zhejiang province in 2013 and 2017. In 2013, Cashem earned certifications for ISO9001 (quality management), ISO14001 (environmental management), OHSAS18001 (occupational health and safety), as well as relevant qualifications for the defense and military industry. Their flagship product, Cascell® structural foam, is a 100% closed-cell, rigid polymethacrylimide (PMI) foam used primarily in aerospace applications. The Cascell® WH grade serves as a structural core material in rocket fairings, aircraft elevators, and wing ribs, while the Cascell® RS grade offers similar properties but is better suited for liquid resin forming processes.
