Back in 1925, Edward Keventer, a skilled Swedish dairy technologist, set up his dairy plant in India. Over time, Keventers gradually grew into a well-known name in the Indian dairy industry. In the 1940s, Ram Krishna Dalmia took over the project and formed a company called ‘Edward Keventers Successors.’ From that point on, the brand really took off. One of their most popular offerings was a range of flavored milkshakes. Every morning, fresh and wholesome milk was delivered across the city from various stockists like Keventers CP, packaged in those iconic wide bottles with water droplets on them and sealed with red and blue aluminum foil caps. By the 1960s, Keventers had become synonymous with dairy products in Delhi. But as New Delhi developed, especially the Chanakyapuri area where the factory was located, it turned into a prime diplomatic zone. Because of this, Keventers had to shut down its factory there. Today, the original Keventers brand is making a comeback, bringing premium-quality, fresh milkshakes to a new generation. Once again, people can enjoy the unforgettable taste of a classic Keventers shake. The original milkshake is back!
