About SEDL

Welcome to SED World of Energy Efficient Engineering™ As the world shifts toward clean and green energy, combining sustainable systems with energy efficiency has never been more important. Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) is committed to sustainable environmental development, aiming to unlock lasting food and energy resources. Founded in 1992 by Mr. Vivek Verma, starting modestly with the manufacture of spray nozzles, SED has grown to serve over 38 countries. We provide innovative technological solutions specifically for the sugar and allied industries. Our expertise lies in delivering integrated, energy-efficient, and cost-effective turnkey solutions for sugar processing, including evaporation, crystallization, refining, and cooling & condensing systems. Our focus on developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies has earned us a reputation for energy-efficient engineering. SED has identified key areas where sugar and allied industries can conserve energy, boosting productivity while cutting costs and optimizing resource use. Thanks to our innovative technologies and equipment, sugar mills have reduced steam consumption to 27-28% per ton of cane. With current advanced equipment, steam use can be lowered further to 15-20%, with even more reductions possible down the line. Additionally, power consumption has been cut from 40 kW to 22-24 kW per ton of cane, and some factories now operate with zero fresh water requirements. At SED, we’re proud to lead the way toward a more sustainable, energy-efficient future for the sugar industry and beyond.
