Sun Sweets

About Sun Sweets

Sunsweet is a well-known and trusted name in dried tree fruits, including prunes, apricots, mangos, and more. As a grower-owned cooperative, Sunsweet Growers Inc. represents over 25% of the global prune market and processes nearly 60,000 tons of prunes each year. Our story began in 1917 when the California Prune and Apricot Growers Association came together to market their crops under the Sunsweet brand. By combining their production and marketing efforts, they made prunes a staple in households everywhere. Today, Sunsweet works with nearly 250 grower-members across California’s Central Valley, continuing to deliver high-quality dried fruits. After more than a century, Sunsweet remains one of America’s top brands, valued and trusted by customers nationwide.
