About The Coup
At The Coup, we’re committed to sustainability and ethical practices in everything we do. That’s why most of our ingredients are organic, locally sourced, and made from scratch. Our cheeses are rennet-free, and all our soy products and grains are GMO-free. We make sure to recycle wherever possible and only use paper products made from post-consumer recycled materials—including this very menu. Our receipts are printed on BPA- and phenol-free paper, using vitamin C for the transfer. To help offset our waste, we plant 36 trees every month through Tree-Canada. We also compost in our garden and keep bee hives nearby, which help produce some of the fresh vegetables you’ll find on your plate. Our products come with minimal packaging, and our operation runs entirely on wind power. Giving back is important to us, too. We donate a portion of our income and have partnered with Meal Share. So, for every menu item with the Meal Share logo, a meal is donated to someone in need.
