About The Grand Thakar
The Grand Thakar was founded in 1965 by Mr. Karunashankar Thakar along with Mr. Hasmukh, Mr. Narendra, and Mr. Omshankar Thakar. It started as a small family-run restaurant right in their home, with no waiters—just family members serving their guests. Thanks to their hard work and blessings, they opened a restaurant in Morbi in 1972. The business grew further in 2000 with a new restaurant on Kantastri Vikas Gruh Road near Gujarat Press in Rajkot. Then, in 2011, they took a big step forward by establishing The Grand Thakar hotel.
