Vishalla is a traditionally styled restaurant that opened its doors on March 27, 1978. The founder, Mr. Surendra Patel, found inspiration for the name 'Vishala' in a religious text called the Bhattachintamani, which details the life of the Swaminarayan Guru. There's also a small Himalayan region called 'Badri Vishala,' known for being a peaceful retreat for sage-like rishi-munis throughout history. The area’s spaciousness, serene atmosphere, and calming environment made it the perfect namesake for the restaurant.
